  19. REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-August 1, 1995-NeXT Computer, Inc. has
  20. expanded its "OpenStep Day" program on August 14 to include three
  21. educational forums- 1) Executive Forum, 2) Introduction to Object
  22. Technology, and 3) Advanced Object Development.  OpenStep Day will
  23. be held in conjunction with Object World August14-17 at San
  24. Francisco's Moscone Convention Center.
  25.  
  26. OpenStep Day and Object World  will be kicked-off with a keynote
  27. address by Steven P. Jobs, Chairman and CEO of NeXT Computer, Inc,
  28. on August 14. Steve will discuss the current state of objects in the
  29. corporate market and unveil new technologies from NeXT, including
  30. OpenStep objects for Windows 95 and Windows NT as well as tools for
  31. building distributed applications on the World Wide Web.

  33. NeXT expanded their OpenStep Day forum to communicate directly to
  34. executives interested in learning about the business value of object
  35. technology. The three-track program appeals to a broad audience
  36. including CIOs, vice presidents, MIS directors, project managers,
  37. and application developers who are interested in learning more about
  38. object technology from a business and/or technical perspective.

  40. At the keynote, Steve Jobs will demonstrate OpenStep, the
  41. industry's most advanced object-oriented development environment.
  42. OpenStep allows organizations to rapidly create, deploy and evolve
  43. three-tier client/server applications which automate
  44. mission-critical business operations. OpenStep applications are not
  45. only scalable across clients and servers, they are portable to both
  46. Windows and Unix platforms.

  49. such a success that we decided to offer three forums in conjunction
  50. with Object World - one for business executives and two others for
